Ending 2015 on a high note, SESAC Latina-affiliated songwriters have once again achieved #1 success, this time on two weekly Billboard singles charts.

“Loco Pero Feliz” (Crazy But Happy), performed by Pirulo y La Tribu and written by the group’s frontman Pirulo, has been announced as the #1 song on the weekly Tropical Airplay chart for December 26, 2015. Meanwhile, “Te Cambio el Domicilio” (I’ll Change Your Place of Residence), written by Edén Muñoz and performed by Banda Carnaval, remains at #1 on Regional Mexican Airplay for the second consecutive week, as of December 19.

Furthermore, the flavorful song “La Receta” (The Recipe), written by SESAC Latina affiliates Rafael Vergara and Victoria Echeverri, and performed by Andrés Cuervo, was #1 on Tropical Airplay for the week of December 12.

This diverse trifecta demonstrates the versatility of the roster of the performing-rights organization SESAC Latina. Its artists also achieved seven Number Ones on the 2015 year-end Billboard charts, thanks to the long-running hits “El Perdón” (Forgiveness) by Nicky Jam on Hot Latin Songs; and “Levantando Polvadera” (Kicking Up Dust), written by Karenia Cervantes and performed by Voz de Mando, on Regional Mexican Airplay.

It’s a great time to be a SESAC Latina artist and to be part of a family that is #1 in creativity within the Latin music scene in the United States and Puerto Rico.
