AFILIADOS DE SESAC LATINA GANAN EN LOS LATIN AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

NICKY JAM se lleva tres y GENTE D' ZONA dos

La gala inaugural de los Latin American Music Awards, premios a la popularidad que se determinan mediante la votación del público, le ha pertenecido al asociado de SESAC Latina Nicky Jam, autor e intérprete del grandioso éxito internacional "El Perdón"

Considerada la mayor y más importante canción del año, con 30 semanas consecutivas en el primer lugar de la lista Hot Latin Songs de Billboard, aunque no estuvo presente por encontrarse en medio de una gira en Europa, gracias a esta composición Nicky Jam obtuvo un total de tres galardones:

A estos tres reconocimientos se suman dos más obtenidos por el aclamado dúo cubano Gente D' Zona (Alexander Delgado, su fundador, y su compañero Randy Malcom). Reflejo de su meteórica aceptación por el público desde Estados Unidos hasta Europa, uno de estos premios corresponde a la categorías:

Dúo o Grupo Favorito - Urbano y Canción Favorita Tropical del Año.

Además, sus integrantes fueron los encargados de presentar uno de los premios de la noche. 
 
Participando en el show musical el reciente ganador del premio SESAC Latina Contemporary Icon Award 2015, Fonseca, hizo el estreno mundial "Ya No Me Faltas" una de las canciones que forman parte de su nuevo ál bum "Conexión".

  

Nutridos aplausos también fueron otorgados al show del laureado grupo mexicano REIK, que esta vez se presentó junto a la cantante Yuri, interpretando su romántica balada titulado "Duele".

        

Con más de 40 años de historia, los American Music Awards en su versión en inglés realizan cada otoño un evento que se transmite internacionalmente y reconoce el favoritismo y popularidad de los artistas más importantes. En esta, su primera edición en español, la ceremonia de entrega fue difundida a través de la cadena Telemundo.

NICKY JAM wins three awards, followed by GENTE D' ZONA with two
SESAC Latina-affiliated artist Nicky Jam was the toast of the inaugural edition of the Latin American Music Awards (LAMAs), earning accolades for his international smash "El Perdón" (Forgiveness), which he wrote and performed. LAMA winners are determined by popular vote. 

 
With 30 consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart, "El Perdón" is the song that defines 2015. On tour in Europe, Nicky Jam was not present at the LAMAs, but sent along his heartfelt thanks for these three prestigious awards:

Furthermore, the acclaimed Cuban duo Gente D' Zona (Alexander Delgado, founder; Randy Malcom, his musical partner), were feted with two awards for their rapid entry into the U.S. and Europe Latin market:
 
Favorite Duo or Group - Urban, and Favorite Tropical Song.
 
The members of Gente D' Zona  also served as awards presenters at this ceremony.
 
SESAC Latina artists also dazzled audiences with their musical performances.  Fonseca, the winner of the 2015 SESAC Latina Contemporary Icon Award, gave the world premiere of his song "Ya No Me Faltas" (I Don't Miss You Anymore), the second single from his latest album Conexión.

 

The Mexican pop group REIK also received an enthusiastic welcome, as they performed their romantic song "Duele" (It Hurts) with special guest Yuri.

          

For over 40 years, the American Music Awards have honored the public's favorite artists and songs every fall with an internationally televised ceremony. This year's inaugural edition in Spanish was televised by Telemundo.
