BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC CONFERENCE AND AWARDS 2016

El asociado de SESAC Latina Nicky Jam ha sido confirmado por Billboard como el primer artista programado para participar en la exclusiva y estelar sesión de preguntas y respuestas (Q&A) a llevarse a cabo en el marco de su Conferencia y Premios 2016.


Celebrando su 27º aniversario, el evento —que también incluye la esperada entrega de premios a los mayores logros del año— cuenta con la participación de los líderes claves de la industria de la música.


Nicky Jam llega a esta conferencia después de haber dominado durante 30 semanas el chart Hot Latin Songs de Billboard con su mega-éxito “El Perdón” y en un momento en que su nuevo sencillo titulado “Hasta El Amanecer” registra un espectacular avance hacia el primer lugar de las listas de popularidad en Estados Unidos, Puerto Rico y diversos países de América Latina.


Sus actuales logros como cantante y compositor le han permitido la obtención de nominaciones a los Billboard Latin Music Awards 2016 en 11 categorías, entre ellas Artista del Año, Canción del Año, Evento Vocal y Canción Más Tocada en Radio por “El Perdón”, tema que grabara junto a Enrique Iglesias como su artista invitado. Exponiendo la fuerza de su propuesta, el pionero del movimiento urbano, como también se le conoce, este año ha sido además la gran atracción del show del Festival de Viña del Mar, Chile, en su edición número 57.


Durante la conferencia a realizarse entre los días 25 y 28 de abril, Nicky Jam será entrevistado por Leila Cobo, Directora Ejecutiva de Contenido y Programación de Billboard. Su presentación estará a cargo de Jorge Mejía, máximo ejecutivo de su editora, Sony/ATV.

2016 BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC CONFERENCE AND AWARDS



SESAC Latina-affiliated songwriter Nicky Jam has been confirmed for an exclusive Q&A session at the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Conference and Awards which takes place between April 25-28 in Miami.  During the Billboard conference Nicky Jam will be interviewed by Leila Cobo, Executive Director of Content and Programming for Billboard. The Q&A will be presented by Jorge Mejía, who leads Nicky Jam's publishing company Sony/ATV.

Celebrating its 27th anniversary, the ceremony attracts Latin music's most influential industry and artistic leaders. Nicky Jam's appearance at this conference comes on the heels of his 30-week reign at #1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart with “El Perdón” (Forgiveness). His latest single, “Hasta El Amanecer” (Until Dawn), has rapidly leapt to #1 on the singles charts in the United States, Puerto Rico and many other Latin American nations.

Jam is a finalist in 11 categories at the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards, including Artist of the Year; Hot Latin Song of the Year, Overall; Hot Latin Song of the Year, Vocal Event; and Airplay Song of the Year for “El Perdón,” which features Enrique Iglesias. Known as the pioneer of Latin urban music, Nicky Jam this week also drew rave reviews from the announcement of his performance at the 57th annual edition of the Viña del Mar Music Festival in Chile.
